Product safety is about ensuring that no mechanical, chemical or microbiological factors cause harm to the consumer. In addition, a range of legal regulations must be complied with, including product and packaging labeling, notifications in EU portals and many other areas, such as claims, etc.
Do you import or sell products in the EU? Or do you produce in the EU? Whether chemicals or products for end consumers or commercial suppliers, there are a number of legal regulations that must be observed in the context of product safety and marketability. This is a very complex and wide-ranging topic. As toxicologists, we support you in implementing the legal regulations. We register your chemicals in accordance with REACh, prepare safety data sheets in accordance with the CLP Regulation, enter your products in the SCIP database or help with all aspects of the GPSR. We examine your products according to LFGB or ProdSG, from the labeling or according to the relevant norms and standards. We register your biocidal products in the EU, as well as cosmetics via the CPNP portal. We can carry out all the relevant tests for you. We are also happy to support you with market surveillance complaints in all these areas.
In our laboratory, we carry out various forms of analysis, both chemical and microbiological. These include, for example, the identification and quantification of chemicals in products, as well as migrations with subsequent content determination in the migrate. The substances analyzed include metals, phthalates, SCCPs, PAHs, bisphenols and much more.
Both bacteria and fungi can be cultivated and examined microbiologically. The former includes the general bacterial count at various temperatures, legionella, enterococci and coliforms/E.coli tests.

Occupational hygiene is concerned with anticipating, recognizing, determining, evaluating, controlling and monitoring stresses (chemical, physical, biological) in the workplace that can affect the health, performance and well-being of people at work.
